    Portiable Floppy Drive

    Floppy drives are an item of the past in computing. However, there are times when a user will need them to retieve old data that was stored many years ago. This drive might be an answer. The drive is not 100% compatiable with Windows 10.. I had to acquire a driver from Ebay to get the floppy to work with Windows 10. It seems to work good with Linux, however. Product is well made and not noisy. I recommend this floppy drive for users looking to retrieve old data.

    Be cerrtain to purchase with return option

    The drive was recognized by Win98SE once the drivers were loaded, and was placed among the disk drives. It would read a disk, but could not transfer those files to another computer. A progtram that required being installed with diskettes only failed with a message, "No device attached", so we had to discard the unit.

    If you have W/10 don't buy this one as won't work.. I orderd another that will work with W/10..

    Doesn't work with W/10 Would not work so when ordering n u have windows 10 Make sure u read fine print.. Not worth sending back Donated it to salvation army.
