I really like this upgrade. The brass piece had what looked like a little bit of typical brass corrosion but I could be wrong. Dropped right in after I excavated the plastic one in shards all over the kitchen table. Quite the chore make sure you invest in a removal tool lol. Otherwise it should clean off in a few cycles whatever it is. The stainless steel spring cups and backplate retainer are awesome and I recommend anyone serious about their gear to get a set for each one.

Great idea gone bad !
The idea is fantastic, replacing plastic with real metal. Unfortunately all the pieces are ruff fit at best. Even after careful stoning to make things fit the results are like sandpaper against sandpaper !! Still trying to make usable.
