    I had some difficulty getting the cap to...

    I had some difficulty getting the cap to latch into place. The barrel of it fit just fine, but the rubber seal would not compress far enough for the lock tabs to snap into place. Then I discovered that by folding the seal back and holding it there, the cap snapped into place readily. Hopefully, after time, the seal will form fit itself to the fill pipe and be easier to work with.
