- c***c (2395)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseReceived the 1 HP well pump, odd thing is not as picture with flat power cable, Pump came with a standard 110 volt plug for the 220 volt pump, wires are 20 gauge and should be a minimal 14 gauge. Pump will work for a while, but with the 220 volts and the amps flowing thru the 20 gauge wire mostly likely fail sooner than later. Gauge was listed, but pictures are misleading and should picture actual plug. Why would the manufacturer use 20 gauge wire is beyond common sense and just cheap greed.
