Product Information

Atari Anniversary Edition is a collection of 12 popular Atari arcade games spanning the years 1972 to 1983. The Dreamcast version is a modified port of the PC title Atari Greatest Hits, which was released a year earlier. What anniversary the collection is celebrating is never made explicit.<br><br>The 12 included games are Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Gravitar, Millipede, Missile Command, Pong, Super Breakout, Tempest and Warlords. Each game can be played full-screen or with simulated cabinet art. In addition to the games themselves, the Archive section features historically relevant items such as flyers, promotional art and cartridge scans, as well as a video clips of an interview with Atari founder Nolan Bushnell. An Atari sticker is included in the package as a bonus.

    Good times...

    What can I say? It&apos;s good ol&apos; classic Atari fun for your Dreamcast. Anyone who is old enough to have played these games when they were released or anyone who just appreciates old school games should love this. I enjoy playing this whenever I get the chance and love to experience the simple but fun games this disc has to offer. Can&apos;t go wrong with a title like this.

    Older Video Games

    I love Atari video games &amp; it&apos;s what I grew up playig.Centipede,Astroids,Missle Command &amp; of coarse Pac-Man.These are good clean fun for the entire family!Atari has been around for years &amp; I think it will be around for years to come.The games never have the same outcome,Due to your reactions(nerves) &amp; reflexes of playing these games.My only complaint would be that you can&apos;t always find the old games.With old games comes old memories(of being a kid &amp; playing a game for a $.25).Overall I would recommend this game edition to all gamers,Young &amp; old.
