Synopsis
The Basics of High-Performance Motorcycle Riding. The best tips for better times and improved safety., This second volume uncovers and traces the direct links between man and machine. Keith's unique ability to unravel complexities and establish simple, essential principles, provide both street and race riders with real tools to think about, and understand for themselves the problems of riding. The author says: "The ten years since the publication of TWIST OF THE WRIST have been exciting ones for motorcyclists. That volume was my first attempt to create a 'technology' of riding: I knew there was one, it was simply a question of finding it. But TWIST OF THE WRIST II contains more real riding technology and addresses the source of our classic rider problems.", Straight facts about riding A Twist of the Wrist, the acknowledged number one book on rider improvement for ten years straight, brought riders worldwide to a new understanding of vital riding skills. Uncovers and traces, action by action, the direct links between man and machine.

Must Read for any Sportbike, Street Racer

Newbie or experienced, its a nice refresher and critical and universal information for throttle control and most importantly... turning. Everyone can go "Straight", but knowing the physics and cycle control for leaning/turning is very important. The book is worth it. The video on You-Tube is a bit "old and cheesy", but that is how I discovered the book.

  • A Must Read for Riders

You will find yourself reading this from cover to cover again and again. It all makes sense once you read about the physics of turning and throttling and knowing how gravity comes into play. My confidence in riding my GSX-R 750 has definitely risen. Learning about "Survival Responses" and how they can hinder your riding helps especially when taking a tight turn. If you can master turning imagine a straight away. I highly recommend this book along with the video. Carlos
