- u***m (1071)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI found this rod very difficult to use. I was brazing 1/4" maliable cast iron to 1/4" mild steel with ~85 amps. I used my old Miller dialarc 250hp TIG welder, set to AC with the HF on. The Aluminum bronze would not wet to the partent metals without over heating the rod and the cast iron. I did try pre-heating the parent metals with my Oxyacetylene. I have to admit his could be my inexperience, or the older welder I was using.

The shipper, USPS in this case was terminally F-U with a major case of anal retentiveness, brain dead actions and seemingly in desperate need of a mineral oil enema to unclog the system. Almost 4 weeks late 3 of which were spent sitting in a Regional USPS Distribution Center through a black hole event horizon.
