Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Jules Poulain was the a ballistics expert and the proof master of Liege, Belgium. This pamphlet is a compilation of data on gunpowder that he published in 1894 (at the time this caused quite the stir as he claimed that British powder would cause more strain at the end of the barrel then at the breech).”
