Just plain fun for the fun-hearted types
(I'll update if something changes) I've gone through 5 sets of co2 and this thing is decently accurate, fun, and though lots of plastic is not cheap plastic and feels durable. I watched a couple of Y.T. videos and took out the 6 burst limiter gear (kind of a pain...definitely use thin string/ thread for one of the levers (that is associated with that gear) to hold it in place and have it removable(doubled so it can "slip" when single pulled). I added a barrel extension which took some figuring out and some drilling , cussing, and the like. and added a red dot sight. Needless to say with or without modifications this thing is fun for all ages (unless you are a party pooper or raise a party pooper of a child) (also known as Captain Bringdown), (or Politicus Libtardious-Pooponus). Fun to shoot. Fixed sites are fair. Accuracy is good. Reliable after 3000 rounds.
Reasonably accurate with the fixed sites. I painted the front site which made it a bit easier to find the target. I added a red/green dot holographic scope. I'll probably cut off the fixed sites after the 90 day warranty expires. The Picatinny rails are sized well and appear to meet the mil spec. I've mounted a 1" riser and a red/green dot scope on the top rail and a laser on the bottom rail. I think these plastic rails could be broken if the accessory is over-tightening. It needs a foregrip handle on the lower rail. The gun has been reliable after firing the first >3000 rounds. CO2 usage reportedly 300 rounds per pair of cartridges. I find the usage to be closer to 200 rounds per pair of CO2 cartridges. The maintenance instructions are vague. It looks to me the gun ... Reasonably accurate with the fixed sites. It looks to me the gun would need to be disassembled to oil the recommended components. Fun to shoot. UPDATE: Added a home 3D printed foregrip. This improved my accuracy. UPDATE July 2020: The trigger has always had a strange pull. If you squeezed the trigger fast, it fired the round. But if you tried to squeeze the trigger slowly to improve the accuracy, it would be hard to squeeze at the end of the pull. Sometimes you could not pull hard enough to fire a round when the trigger was squeezed slowly. This got worse over time. After about 4000 rounds, the trigger has become unreliable making the gun useless. I have to fiddle with the trigger to get it to reset after firing a round. I've followed the vague maintenance instructions and bought the recommended lubes. So, this failure is not the result of improper maintenance. It also leaks CO2. Don't waste your money.

CO2 MUCH FUN !!!
Well I purchased the umarex steel storm for fun ,and over 40 co2 cartridges later it's still fun. I use it every week. Shell plastic Build quality feels a bit cheap ,but if you don't drop it it'll be fine. Innards are all metal ,and that's the bits that matter. I shoot at about 35ft and it shreds my beer cans on burst fire every time. The accuracy is fantastic ,and when burst moding my beverage recepticles I would say 4 of the 6 bbs hit the target. I put a laser point sight on for dusk/dark shooting ,but the "iron sights" are great for daytime. I ran light silicone lube in it for the first 500 shots to clean and lube ,then switched to non detergent 30 weight oil to lube and seal , That way I can look after my seals and "o" rings. I put a light silicone spray in the barrel only every week or so. As for co2 longevity, I can safely say that I can get up to 400 good shots in 30/40 degree weather with constant shooting. I'm sure in the summer it'll be performing even better with harder hitting shots. As for resovoir capacity, I've never counted my bbs ,but a 300 bb capacity resovoir means you can always cram in an extra 25 I'm sure ,so on 2 co2 cartridges in one clip I can do up to 1 and a half reservoirs max. The last shots are terribly embarrassing, but the first 250 shots are real good ,and the first 50 shots would kill small game at about 20ft i suspect. As for power...a co2 cartridge can only put out a certain amount of pressure ,so no matter what people say ,all co2 bb guns are about the same power, about 400 to 480 fps. Blowback guns suffer more cos the gas is used for slides and levers. So 430 fps is a good power to have. I have a 480 fps co2 gun ,and I can tell the difference ,but I don't get anywhere near the amount of shots that the umarex steel storm gives. So that being said ,it's a very good balance of power and co2 usage. The gun is very well weighted too. It's great value for money and is reliable ,just don't drop it. I would buy this gun again simply to do the ultimate "duke nukem" thang !!!

I had to order to the first one I got the spring was busted so I tried to fix it and failed so I ordered a second one seems like a spring on them ain't made a very good quality so that's why I didn't give at five stars but they're cheap enough to where you can afford to buy another one and the second one is pretty decent. So I recommend them still
