    Great Ukulele For The Money.

    This soprano pineapple ukulele has a warm, husky, rich tone, a unique look, and stays in tune fairly well. I have four ukuleles and although this one is not my favorite, it is steadily growing on me. I've gotten in the habit of picking up my Ukes by palming the face, which I can't do with the pineapple style. The Gig Bag is a thin material with no padding, but for free it is serviceable. The ukulele's body texture looks very coarse, but it is actually much smoother than it appears. Everyone seems to like the Maori tattoo design more than anything. It's a good value for the money and I have no regrets about buying it.

    Sounds Horrible

    Tried this because I curious how a pineapple uke would sound and I really liked the novelty of this design. Returned it because this uke sounds absolutely horrible! (Compared to my other ukes of an Amahi Penguin concert sizes and a vintage Kamaka soprano.) I can confirm that I discovered that I think theat Luna ukes sound absolutely horrible - my ear, my opinion. There is something about the C-string reverbs so loudly that there is a constant background buzz. I have since sampled Luna ukes at two music stores (including one designated uke shop with over a hundred ukes on the showroom floor) and absolutely confirm my dislike fo the sound of a Luna uke. Since this purchase I have sworn off buying ukes online...kind of. But beware of the risk as you don't know how it all sound until ...

    Quality product

    There was a little problem with the ukulele, the ends of the fret bars were sharp like they missed a step in the production process. Also the pitch pipe is worthless. Anyone that buys this ukulele should get an electronic tuner that clips on to head to keep it in tune.

    Go elsewhere for a decent sounding and playing ukulele on a budget.

    Get a Kmise concert. much better for less money. Luna is pretty. thats it. sound is poor. low volume and boxy, and intonation up the neck is horrible. Gave mine away to a school. or get a Flight uke, any flight.....ten times better. Just my opinion.

    I saw this at my music teacher's house. He had wanted one for a long time. Since I have the same make and tattoo in concert size, I also HAD to have this one. It came quickly, in perfect condition. I could not be more pleased.
