    Shure BLX288 Wireless Mike Set

    Bought these for a club. They work pretty good with clean sound. I did notice that the range was about 80 feet inside a metal framed building and no sound if you walked outside. That hurts the summer PA use we wanted these for. I have to use another mike set up near a window as the Shures are the main set inside the building. Also a bit weary of the on/off buttons which seem a bit fragile and will likely wear with time.

    Great Mic but No Case

    This is the second Shure wireless mic system I've bought and they make a great product. The only reason I gave this four stars is because it doesn't come with a case and Shure doesn't make one for it like my single mic has.

    Excellent Value !

    These mics work great. We use them for vocals and the sound quality is awesome. The PG58 is a little fatter than what they replaced, but they appears to be more durable as well.

    K12 & M15 bands being reassigned

    Very easy to use - good quality. Please note that K12 & M15 bands are no longer authorized for use in the USA. From Shure ... Due to the FCC Incentive Auction, the use of wireless microphones and personal monitor systems in the 600 MHz Band eventually will be prohibited by law in the United States. The “600 MHz Band” refers to frequency ranges 616–653 MHz and 663–698 MHz. If you use wireless systems that operate in the 600 MHz Band, then you should plan to transition to another range of spectrum. For the FCC notice search "fcc 600 mhz wireless microphones" (I can't post link here)
