Provides 2 leather layers overall, in some spots 3. No smell, will need oiling. Recommend no more than 1 oiling on inside, at least 3 times on the exterior spaced over time...it will absorb a lot. Remember the oil will change color of the leather. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.
