- s***s (2174)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseItem received promptly. Item itself was of cheaper quality than expected. The heatsink and fins are aluminum with a copper finish, not actually copper. On powerup the fan also made contact with the wire that feeds it electricity, which had to be gently repositioned otherwise there was a clicking sound, otherwise the fan is almost silent. The blue LEDs do not seem to be configurable to turn off. For the price it does the job but as one would expect there are no frills at this price point.

My i5 8400 is running nicely within operating temperatures as I write this. Instructions are unfortunately nonexistent but the Intel mounting system is fairly straightforward. Be patient and you'll get it. I had a slight clearance issue with my ram due to the close proximity of the slots and the added height from the ram coolers but that's just a design quirk. Overall I'm very happy.
