A wonderful addition to your quilting toolkit if you can't have a longarm machine setup
Quilters, this is a wonderful addition to your quilting toolkit if you want the ability to do free-motion quilting without the expense and space requirements of a full length longarm quilting machine setup. This frame is sturdy as well as portable. It can be setup on a kitchen table or a long folding table in a matter of minutes. It can also be taken down just as quickly and stored upright in a corner, closet, etc. I will say the initial assembly is a bit intimidating, but once assembled, it was well worth the effort. To use it, takes a bit of getting used to, since for large quilts, (full and queen sizes) you have to quilt in sections. Also, the size throat of the machine you use determines the width of the section that you can quilt before you have to readjust the quilt on the ... Quilters, this is a wonderful addition to your quilting toolkit if you want the ability to do free-motion quilting without the expense and space requirements of a full length longarm quilting machine setup. This frame is sturdy as well as portable. It can be setup on a kitchen table or a long folding table in a matter of minutes. I use a Juki TL2010Q, which gives me an area of about 6 inches deep x 5 feet wide of available area to quilt before having to readjust the quilt on the frame. My only recommendation if you purchase this frame, is to purchase the Sure Stitch stitch regulator for your machine if your machine does not have one already (my machine did not).
