      Good for its age, kept time but alarm stayed on

      Sadly "tested" wasn't accurate, but "cleaned" was - it was in very nice condition for a 30 year old clock radio! Sadly, the alarm light stayed on constantly, which unfortunately meant the alarm went off "like clockwork" every day, regardless of whether the switch was on or off. Had to eventually abandon use, much to my dismay, as I'm not always home to turn it off and it wakes my spouse on the off days. I'm accustomed to using this clock/alarm which is why I bought one, so not regretful for the purchase. At its age I'd suggest next time testing to be sure the alarm light stays off.
