When I walk, the toebox of the shoes barely bend or crease, and even if they do bend, the don't bend enough to permanently crease the shoes. My toes aren't squashed because the protectors are quite thin, and they don't rub either. Honestly these are better than the ones from the big shops like JD, because they are cheaper and work the exact same, if not better. I would definitely recommend these, and would buy them again for other shoes
