    Limited use on my printer, but very pleased w/it so far

    I did a lot of research on similar All-In One printers like the Canon PIXMA MP980. I was impressed with the good reviews and comments received from professionals and product users. I have not had mine very long, but I am impressed with the features and flexibility this printer offers. I wouldn't say that this printer is so complex that it is difficult to master, buy my use has been limited and I'm still learning the tools and experiementing. Because of that, I know I'm vague, but this is my third request to submit a review, so I am writing up what I am able. I definately wouldn't hesitate to purchase this printer. I don't think you will be disappointed; so far I'm quite pleased and amazed with what it does and can do. I hoped this helped.

    Pixma MP980 Printer

    I checked Consumer Report before I bought the 980 & did my homework first & glad I did!!! Many of the reviews I read were all very Positive about the printer, the only Negative ones I read was the issue on ink usage! Those who say that the Pixma 980 is an INK MONSTER is just plain old "CHEAP"! Those are the same buyers that stock up when McDonalds or Burger King runs specials on Burgers at $.20 each & you get what you pay for, nothing but a GUT GRENADE. If you want QUALITY, EASE OF SET-UP, CLASSY LOOKS, & JUST DOWN RIGHT GREAT REPRODUCTION OF WHATEVER YOUR PRINTING, COPING OR SCANNING, THEN THE PIXMA 980 IS THE ONE FOR YOU!!! Another reason I bought it is because Apple/Imac has it in their on-line store for sale & if Apple stands behind it, then it has to be GREAT!!! Even if you have to ...

    THIS PRINTER WILL JUST SPOIL YOU.I AM TOTALLY HOOKED .MY WIFE IS JUST THRILLED WITH IT THAT SHE STOPPED USING HER PRINTER IT IS HOOKED UP TO WORK WIRELESSLY WITH MY ALUMINUM MACBOOK PRO. THEY WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER .THE PRINTER HOLDS YOUR HAND FOR EVERY FUNCTION IT DOES. IT IS SO EASY TO USE. .MY WIFE WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY SCANNING TO A MEMORY CARD OR TO A FLASHDRIVE IS WAY COOL.I JUST PUT MY SD CARD INTO THE PRINTER AND SELECT PRINTS FROM THE LARGE SCREEN DISPLAY ON TOP. THE INK IS EASY TO FIND ONLINE AND VERY EASY TO REMOVE AND INSTALL. THE CARTRIDGES THAT ARE LOW WILL BLINK WHEN THEY ARE READY TO BE REPLACED
