Direct fit mountain Bike brake cable replacement
The product is excellent and fit perfect. The only problem was the tip to keep the metal strands from poking out. I had to cut the tip off because it would not fit through the cable jacket to the brake arm. I would have liked to crimp the tip protector at the end of the installation to prevent my sons skin from being punctured by a stray cable strain. However, this doesn't make me dislike the cable at all. Excellent price and shipping was fast.The product is excellent and fit perfect. Excellent quality ATB brake cable.
When your life can depend on having good brakes, the weakest link is a bad cable. This is a high quality, galvanized steel brake cable which can be used for road or mountain bikes. The difference is in the cable end which goes inside the brake lever. I highly recommend this.

This brake cable was of good quality, easy to install and a reasonable option compared to going to a bike shop. The fact that it comes with 2 different ends was helpful as I am not a bike expert and knew this cable would be usable one way or another.
