Good camera
Going back to roots and using film camera with all manual adjustments is great. Unfortunately the metering does not work hence (4 stars) But its a solid, well built camera. Very easy to understand how to use even without manual. These cameras requires non Ai lenses, which I personally love. It's quick to focus and capture an image. I love that it's all manual. I wish my cameras metering worked, so I carry a light meter to help with metering and also have a digital camera on hand if I am really struggling to meter. Other than that fantastic camera and well worth the investment especially to help improve your photography game, really makes you stop and think about the composition and what you are trying to achieve.

MY FIRST 35mm Camera
Wow, This was my first 35mm film camera and was it fun. I believe I got one in 1976 and shot tons of film with it. I ended up doing weddings with this with just the one 50mm lens ( VERY SHARP) and a Rollie flash... Man that was fearless back then... Quirky, strong!
This is a fantastic vintage camera. It is completely different from others, the shutter speed dial is a ring around the lens mount. It is strong built, the only downside is that the battery is not sold anymore and you have to work around that, but it's only for the light meter because the camera works and shoots perfectly without a battery. 1969 Nikon FTN Body
I couldn't believe the price for this classic camera. I had two back in the 70's and just had to have another one. These cameras were BUILT TO LAST and I love the heft of it and the way it cocks the shutter. Nothing will ever come close to these beautiful cameras. My first college camera back in my hands again
The camera a classic Nikon product, built with extraordinary precision and finish quality. It is easy to focus and the match needle metering system is super easy. The match needle also shows on the top, so you can glance down to see if the exposure is still OK. I bought one in my senior year for 165.00, serious money then. This one was inexpensive on ebay. It feels as solid as if it was new. Current cameras are marvelous, but none will last this long and be so wonderful. It' like inheriting your grandfather's watch and marveling at the workmanship.
