Good budget speaker
Great highs and good mids. Very little distortion. They are connected to 25w rms with a high pass of 120hz. Tuned with an o-scope for sq. Cannot comment on bass. I have a sub. Great efficiency with little distortion. Great upgrade compared to factory speakers. If need that “clap” eq them or get better speakers. They need at least 15watts to get loud. Just Okay
These are actually 5” speakers with a 3/4” mounting flange around the outside(6 1/2” total dia.). I replaced some old 6” Concertone speakers in my trailer with these in order to have matching ones for stereo, and while they have a slightly crisper high with the tweeters, they aren’t that much better. I left one old speaker in for surround. The outer mounting holes are nice if you already have 6” holes cut out though, but they need some bigger screws if you want to attach the grills after you mount the speakers.
