Lube the interior of the clamps and the screws. This will help everything to slide into place as the rough phosphate finishes drag pretty hard. You will scuff your firearm. Its a given. But if you put it in the same location when removing for cleaning, its not an issue. Pretty isnt a function of combat firearms but it is nice.

Not returning and going through all the hassle. Nearest place to send back for me is 35 miles away. Already paid $50 for the wrong gloves, not spending another $20 in gas to return it.
