Even though 17lbs is the oem weight it feels slightly less judging by the reduced recoil but I pushed 200 rounds with no FL/FE issues. My only complaint, which is my own doing, is the hex tip is smaller than the standard tip so you gotta give it a little tap to take it out when cleaning.
