    One if the best movies I’ve seen.

    “The Boys Next Door”. This movie is so touching and moving and very real. It makes you smile so much and cry at the same time. It’s quite brilliant and gives you so much insight into beautiful people. Every one of the actors did an excellent job. I’ve watched it several times and see and hear something more each time. So much for us to learn in this movie. I highly recommend it.

    Entertainment with a societal statement done with humor.

    MOST of the characters were well-played. The story was improbable (coming from a social worker) because adults with mental/social limitations of that depth would not be living on their own without some in-house supervision. But, since this is a fiction story, one can view it safely as pure entertainment without anything objectionable in it. We found it interesting that everyone was depicted as having some sort of limitation, even the "normally healthy" individuals. The idea is that we are all in this life together, and must make allowances for our differences - with humor.

    Very funny, well written & performed. Sheds light on the plight & comedy in a highly functional, mentally challenged group home and their empathetic care giver. Not too preachy, but makes some valid points on how we care for some of the weakest among us. Comedy turns to a tear jerker as the plot plays out. Overall enjoyable movie.
