Perfect sight, no batteries, dead on accurate
I used this on a Glock 41 (45acp) and it handles the recoil like a champ. Shooting a one inch group now at 20 yards with cheap ammo by sighting in the top of the triangle at 20 yards and the bottom of the small triangle hits at 100 yards (dead middle at 50). Absolutely perfect and reliable, no drifting. Did not use loctite, the screws already had dry thread lock on them

Green Triangle Super Dim
Yes, I did my homework and knew ahead of time that it wasn't super bright. I have a couple of other dual illuminated RMR's and an RX30 reflex. The triangle is considerably dimmer than the other dots. I called Trijicon and they stated that the triangle is the largest reticle they sell and it takes more ambient light. It works great when you're outside but washes out badly indoors. It is of the highest quality just like all of Trijicons products. Overall I am a little disappointed and wish I had just gone with another dot. I have always wanted one of the triangle reticles so it stung a little. Yes, I did my homework and knew ahead of time that it wasn't super bright. Expensive but Worth It!
The higher price of this sight is justified in my mind by never having to worry about turning it on or replacing dead batteries. Reticle brightness is controlled by ambient light, so the only downside might be sighting on a bright outdoor target from a dark indoor room. Otherwise, for normal use the reticle is always at an appropriate brightness. Even in total darkness the tritium-illuminated reticle is clearly visible once eyes are dark-adapted. I chose the green reticle (amber also available) for the higher visibility of green to the human eye.
