    Husky Portable Inflator

    I've only used the Husky compact tire pump inflator a couple times. It's quiet and smooth. It's not powerful, which I fully expected. The connection fits tight and locks securely on the tire stem. The built in pressure gauge on this unit is not accurate or even close to the actual tire pressure, but I didn't plan on relying on it. I always use a separate tire gauge on all my compressors. The on/off switch is easy to locate and manipulate. It does the job and meets/exceeds my expectations. The real test is how long this unit will last. My last compact compressor lasted 25 years. If this unit comes close to that it will exceed my life expectancy.

    Works well but somewhat loud and not real fast.

    The unit feels well built and solid but it is loud and it not very fast. I have had cheaper units that plug into the cigarette lighter that are almost as fast and about as noisy. I have only used it one time so I don't know if it will last long or be dependable. This unit is small and does plug into a regular 110v wall outlet so it is convenient if you are at home or near an outlet. I do like it and it does the job. I would have given it four stars if I knew it would last for many years.

    Nice portable air

    Works great on tires! Compact size is great to stash with spare for emergencies but you gotta have an extension cord + and 110 jack power. Very slow on inflatables...

    Sturdy little compressor. A little slow to fill a low tire.

    Seems well built and runs more quietly than expected. It is a little slower than expected to fill a low car tire. The hose and power cord should be a little longer.

    Convenient and powerful

    This product is just what I was looking for. It is more powerful and faster than the cigarette powered air compressors. Also, it is more convenient than travelling to the gas station to get tires inflated. It can also can pump up other items such as balls and pool inflatables. The negatives are that the gauge seems to be a couple of pounds off as compared to the cars internal gauge and my tire pressure gauge. I would like to have had an automatic shut off at the desired pressure. That is why 4 and not 5 stars. Considering the price and convenience I would recommend this item and buy again.
