    ec70 risers

    Carbon is strong and light, but rarely cheap. These EC70s were the most inexpensive name brand risers that fit my bike. Honestly I don't believe they absorb trail vibrations as well as the EC90s. I prefer carbon bars because of the smoother ride they provide compared to aluminum alloy. These bars seem equally as harsh as the alloy bars they replaced. they are a bit lighter. I think in the future I'll hold out for EC90s or comparable.

    Very happy with these handlebars.

    Road handlebars are somewhat personal. Some are short reach. I prefer a longer reach and these are what has worked in the past. After trial and error, these best fit my needs.

    Great Carbon Mountainbike Handlebar

    This is my first carbon handlebar and I couldn't be happier with it. I put it on my nearly 20 year old Bianchi mountain bike as one of the last original Bianchi parts to upgrade. And what an upgrade it is, making my bike lighter and easier to handle. Only thing to watch out for is when you tighten the screws around the handlebar you have to be aware that carbon bars can only take a certain amount of torque (5NM), and that you could ruin your new bar by over tightening. So I went out and got me a new bike torque wrench, which is very handy anyways for all tightening jobs on the bike.
