Needed the extras
Found these and was glad I did. These are a perfect fit for my Vivitar VPT-120 tripod. I seem to have lost the one that came with it and now have more things (cameras & binoculars) to attach so I bought 3 of these. I like that they lock into place on the tripod for a secure mount. This was a good find.

Fits perfectly
I was given a Vivatar VPT-120 that was missing this part. Sixteen bucks and a couple days later I had a working tripod. Fits and functions like the original plate without the need for any modifications that people report with other plates said to fit this tripod.

Tripod camera base
I purchased a used tripod from a second hand store know it was missing the camera attachment and needed some new screws in the legs but got it anyway. After doing some research I found this generic base and honestly didn't expect it to work very well but am I greatly surprised. It works great. It locks into place and I have no worries about putting several hundred dollars worth of camera and lenses on the tripod with it.I purchased a used tripod from a second hand store know it was missing the camera attachment and needed some new screws in the legs but got it anyway.
