These are definitely modified based on a bulk pre-cut length to start, and modified down to the length desired. My only issue is that the Y splitter on the headphone end was much too close to the headphones for me, so I used aluminum shears to cut it off and split the wire a little further down. Would definitely suggest the seller leave the Y splits longer if that’s in their control. Great value over-all!
