    Performs as expected, but its only been a couple of weeks.We already have a Fujitsu scanner and it has worked for years. We wanted a flatbed scanner so we bought this, excellent price!

    High Capacity Scanner for Windows - for Linux not sure

    For Windows, it is EXCELLENT! For Linux, it is not working well. However, this may be due to my inexperience with the sane.org driver. What I like: 1) High scanning speed saves me time 2) Full duplex saves me the time and hassle of multiple scans 3) Having a flatbed AND an automatic document feeder (ADF) makes it universal 4) Fujitsu reputation 5) Works perfect with Windows What I do not like: 1) This model connects with USB. I would be prefer an ethernet connection so that it can be easily networked. 2) Linux SANE driver appears to be incomplete although the review on the sane.org web site states that it is complete. I cannot get full duplex to work. Keep in mind this is NOT a scanner problem. However, this could be due to my inexperience using this open source ...

    How do I buy stock in Fujitsu?

    I'm stretching hard to find superlatives which are adequate to describe my experience. I'm so impressed with the engineers who designed this scanner that I'd study Japanese and move to Japan if I knew I could get a job with the company. Operating the fi-6230 is like having the perfect father reach out to guide me - hand-in-hand - through each step. Obviously this company, just like American corporations, has a marketing department as well as their design and engineering departments. In the case of this product, the engineers and designers won the war. No contest. Thank you, Fujitsu, for restoring my faith in the integrity of mankind.

    The price is great, the product is great.

    Didn't come with an installation CD. I had to go to the website and it was not easy to find the drivers. Had to get help from Fujitsu.
