    *In simple hands how pure faith overcomes doubt, belief shows compassion. *

    A rare and special movie - especially during times like these (8/7/2013). When so much seems lost it's a real treat to see the simple faith of these lovely actors who don't seem to be playing - but living the simple, honest, heart felt faith as so many believe in and so many can't. Just a wonderful story - the settings are beautiful - the story is well laid out & played, the scenery is beautiful. So nice to leave the "Big Brother" world that's come into being and go back to a more simple time... kindness, sweetness, and faith without blame shines like a star in the darkness of these days. Just a wonderful tale. Highly Recommended!

    Come to the Stable

    Oh!!!! If only we did make movies like this now. Since they don't, I am certainly glad to own a copy of this priceless classic. Come to the Stable is one of the true xmas movies that plays on your emotions. If you didn't feel anything before, you will if you watch this well acted comedy/drama from beginning to end. Without giving away too much of this plot, Come to the stable centers around a couple of french nuns who are determined to build a children's hospital. They efforts ruled by faith is tremendous. They are confronted by road block after road block, but their faith, regardless of what downfalls that occu, is truly touching. Loretta Young and Celeste Holm characterizations is just mesmirizing as the nuns. If there is a flaw, the length could have been a bit longer is ...

    I SAW THIS MOVIE YEARS AGO AND LIKED IT, ITS A GREAT UPLIFTING COMFORT MOVIE WITH HUMOR COMPASION AND ACTORS AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME. IF YOU LIKED "Sister Act", with Whoopie Goldberg you'll like this movie. The VHS tape was flawless, but you can also find the movie on digital disc.

    Come to the Stable VHS

    The VHS was in good condition, so the picture was audible without crackle. However I'd prefer it in DVD. The story is about tenacity of two nuns raising funds to start a children s hospital to fullfil her promise to God, if he saved the French childrens home in France from bombing during WWII. It's about faith in people and accomplishing the impossible. I enjoyed the film
