Great substitute for the OEM N64 controller at a low price!
I've used this controller for a couple weeks with mostly platformers or adventure games. I purchased an N64 recently and most of the OEM controllers had loose joysticks. So I wanted to see how bad they were against a 3rd party controller with a "smoother" joystick action. This controller has a great in-hand feel and is really compact. Button response feels amazing and the joystick is very smooth. It's lighter than an OEM controller which feels odd to start. I recently replaced one of my OEM controllers gears/box/joystick and used some silicone lube. I honestly prefer the refurbished OEM (mainly due to years of using this style) but this is a close second for a low price (<$20). The joystick seems a bit too responsive, which may only be noticeable on games like Goldeneye, but on most ... I've used this controller for a couple weeks with mostly platformers or adventure games.
