Ken Burns' the Civil War

First of all, I need to apologize for my tardiness in this review: this purchase was a Christmas gift for my mother, 82 years old. Therein, lies my delay in writing. I needed this gift to be in video, not DVD form. I checked Amazon.com etc and was appalled at the prices. When I found this in EBAY, I picked it up immediately: due to the cost (mimimal) and also because, it was in video format. The purchase was received very quickly. It was also identified as the 2nd and 9th tape being brand new, which appeared to me as well upon receipt. My mother is now watching the 2nd video. She is enthralled by this show and can't believe I found it. Actually, neither can I. The tapes are in good condition and she is able to watch the show at her leisure. Great tapes to watch! I found a lot about the civil war, that I didn't know about before. It's something I didn't hear about in high school 45 years ago.
