It was easy to assemble this with no instructions, because there literally were NO instructions included. No problem. Pieces slid together after some force was applied to the 4 heavy plastic pieces. Unit is very sturdy upon assembly. My wife and I are 120 & 175 lbs so no weight issues as others commented on. I could see that on a very hot day, standing on one of the center steps could cause the unit to sag if you're heavy. Very well made otherwise in my opinion.
