I installed and have used them for a bit now. Found these durable. Need to tweak locking pin, was afraid I would break it but did not. Used to remote mount my MK2G from dash in Jeep JT to under backseat. Use a good quality CAT6E Twisted Pair cable to make jumper. If you need a good remote cable alternative. This is the one. Fast shipping. Item works as described, but i had to use a file to remove a little excess plastic in order for it to properly fit into the IC-706 displat and allow the release button to properly latch. It works fine after a little filing. It is not as solid as the OEM remote cable, but it is a better price and seems to work OK.
