Classic Bird feeder is the best I have owned
I bought another of this feeder, as well as the hanging version. For some reason the hanging version is not as attractive to the birds, but they have flocked to this post/baffle model for many years. House and Purple finch are especially fond of them. I also bought the weather guards that fit both models, and they are excellent. For years, I felt a guard would be ideal for protecting the ports from snow and rain, and they do. I've never had a problem with squirrels on this model, and it had held up very well in years of northeastern weather.I bought another of this feeder, as well as the hanging version. The Birds Love it...Especially the Smaller Ones
I just received this bird feeder today, but so far the birds love it, and I do too. Its completely assembled and installation is very simple. Quality appears to be top-notch. I've had a good number of so-called "squirrel-proof" bird feeders, but have yet to find one that lives up to that claim. I would guess this one will be, as long as the instructions are followed to place it NO CLOSER than 10 feet from a tree or anything else squirrels could leap from. The amazing thing is the birds discovered this feeder less than 10 minutes after I installed it. FIVE-STARS.I just received this bird feeder today, but so far the birds love it, and I do too. Complete Deal - Good Size Feeder, Pole & Baffle
Great feeder, my birds went right to it feeding. Nice size also don't have to refill so often and the baffle makes a difference keeping the squirrels away.

Difficult to install, but works well.
The birds took to it in minutes. The Goldfinch, in particular, have been constant visitors. The feeder is well made but I found it difficult to hammer it far enough into the earth so that it would be steady. No squirrels yet.
