Bicycle Carrier Hitch Rack
The carrier is made of heavy, strong steel. It is much more substantial that I had anticipated. It was simple and easy to assemble. Only two wrenches were required to accomplish the entire assembly. All the parts listed in the instructions were in the packet. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. I used the carrier the next day and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this piece of equipment to anyone who wants an inexpensive, easy-to-use bicycle carrier.The carrier is made of heavy, strong steel. Rack is too short for an average mtn bike!
The price is the best, but the bars where the bike tires are supposed to rest were not long enough for my average size Mntn Bike. I bought longer and more robust bars and modified the bike rack to fit my bike this rack is better suited for a smaller bike no longer than 53 inches, max, However, now that I modified it I am quite satisfied with it. The total cost of the modification was $70.00 I performed the modification myself! Had I been aware of the size limit I would have paid more money for a bike rack that fit!The price is the best, but the bars where the bike tires are supposed to rest were not long enough for my average size Mntn Bike. Nice and simple rack
This is a nice and simple rack and it was easy to assemble. I did add 1" foam pipe insulation to the total length of the two bars that the bikes are tied to. I could see it was going to rub on the bike so hope the foam address that issue.
