Perfect fit for the Maytag Bravos MEDX700XW0
My Maytag Bravos stopped creating hot air recently. Everything else worked; the drum rotated, the lights worked, the mode selectors worked, it just stopped blowing hot air. I pulled the front lower panel off, and right there tucked into a sheet metal enclosure was the heating element. I used my digital meter to check the resistance of the coil, and my meter indicated the coil resistance was infinite (i.e. the coil wasn't continuous anymore). I pulled the coil out, and sure enough, there was a break in the wire. The steel backing plate that the coil is affixed to has a part number and "FSP" embossed on it. This unit matched that exactly both in description, and also the FSP branding. I installed this element and everything is working great! Hopefully good for another 11 years! Just ... OEM instead of cheap knockoff
A year and a half ago I purchased a cheaper not original equipment replacement part. It did not last. This time I am going with the real thing. The original part lasted 18 years. We will see how long OEM part lasts. Our dryer is a Kenmore made by whirlpool. The washer continues on. Top of line when we bought the set. I great value.

Great value, easy to install.
My 20 year-old Kenmore electric dryer hadn't been drying my clothes quite as well over the past year or so. Cleaned out the lint trap and the exhaust hose all the way to the outside vent and that didn't help much either. Someone suggested that I replace the heating element. Installed this new unit and sure enough my clothes are drying in 2/3 the time that they used to. In fact I've turned down the heat setting from High to Medium and it still dries my clothes faster than before. Easy to replace and a great value. Perfect fit
These are factory replacement parts and fit perfectly. I suggest purchasing an extra set of dogs. Fatigue kills them, so they don't last as long as you might expect. Repair is super simple and fast. Great item. Great value.
