    Bottoms Pushers

I have had a small sound company for several years and been a vocalist and musician for around 45 years, but have only recently tried Rockville speakers. My first set was a pair of Titan 12’s. They sounded so good I bought second pair. Then I just had to try a set of these RBG 15FA’s, there a little heavy, but man do they push some bottom. So my biggest regret has been not trying them sooner, and all the money I have spent on big name brand speakers, like QSC, Mackie, EV, JBL, Alto and more that I have in inventory. So let me just say this, if they last, and I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t, they are very well built, and speaking from the experience with the series speakers I’ve have purchased. Rockville speakers are the BEST!! speakers you can buy for the money, no exceptions.

  • Very nice for the price the Rockville 15B is a nice spearker it a few out that is better but not many i been in the business for over 20 years

They are heavy but, sounds great. it hit harder and my turbosound IQ15B on the very low end. I trying to buy another one next month. to have a matching pair. I know someone that has 4 18 ROCKVILLE FOLDED HORN SUBS. and boy do they hit and boy they are heavy you will need a truck to move the 18 inch speaker but I have a Nissan Maxima and with the set up I can put 2 15 sub in the back set barely I can put 2 tops in the truck and the two subs in the back set I am happy with them for now I can't say anything bad about them I did 6 event with this Bass rig. and was almost always was asked to turn it down. the Rockville do bottom out but, I believe thats a speaker cabinet flaw. I am go to try an High Excursion 1000 Watts continuous 15 inch woofer. before I do anything to the cabinet but, for ...

  • Much better than expected.

Let me start by saying I was skeptical. I have klipsch (R 15s) and JBL (ES250) powered subs, so I was looking for a high powered sub for my basement. Well, I was quite surprised, there is a but though.... First, you have to place this folded horn correctly, if you don't the standing waves will have the woofer "double speaking". That's when the cabinet and the woofer are not in sync and its due to placement. I placed the Rockvilles 4 ft from the side wall and 2 feet forward (still working on the placement). I have two Rockviles 15s, and the subs are placed the same. Folded Horn subs are supposed to be very large, which means that with each fold internally in the cabinet, you have to adjust with placement. This folded horn is small for 600rms, so you will have to move them away from ...

  • Better value that top name brands!

I have purchased many subwoofers in the past for our band. Always paying a lot of money thinking I am getting the best! I have 3 different styles of the Rockville subs and the RBG15FA is a perfect fit!! I have the Rockville 18" and have found they are too big for venues of 100 to 150 people. They are best outdoors or bigger clubs. The 15" add a quick-solid punch for the kick drum. Bass guitar sounds beautiful though the 15" as well like most bass amp cabinets. The RBG15fa are long throw and cut through the crowd to be able to hear and FEEL any where in a club. They are smaller than the 18" but still heavy. I have used the 15" for 3 months and no problems. The other 18" (same style) I have had for 2 years and not a single problem either. The 4" coils and 600 watt rms on these are made for ...

  • Built well, solid, good thump

It's very solid, a little on the heavy side but I believe it's necessary weight considering the thickness of the construction and hardware. I'm pairing these subs with a set of QSC K12s, 1000 watts. They match up very well. I use the internal crossover/high-pass in the RBG FAs to send signal to the k12s. We have played larger indoor clubs and some smaller outdoor events with them with plenty of left over power and punch. I hope they hold up over time. If they do, I'll be thrilled.
