      GREAT looking lights, narrow beam, and failed magnetic mechanical shutter

      Great looking headlights and really easy to install. Downside is they have a mechanical shutter that is driven by a magnet that gets energized by the high beam power, and is pulled down to expose the full light of the beam to flip from low to high beams. After using these for a month more than a year, the magnetic shutter stopped working and the lights got stuck on high beams. Contacted support and the didn't answer my question they just said I was outside the warranty window. So my solution was to disconnect the high beam magnet and physically pull the shutter up so the lights are always on low beam and just use my light bar. This really stinks because I didn't want a mechanical shutter since that is one component that can fail. Also, the beam field is very narrow like the light bulbs are ...
