Very good value with great results
We looked at the higher priced models and because we are using the lens for personal use, we chose the Sigma. Let me just say this is not just a hobby lens. The images are great. It's easy to use, We did purchase a gimbal mount and that makes the added weight of a 600mm lens a non issue. We recommend a good quality tri-pod with gimbal mount and you'll be able to get the crisp long distance shots you're looking for.We looked at the higher priced models and because we are using the lens for personal use, we chose the Sigma. Good lens for wildlife photography.
Lighter than expected so hand-holding is not a problem. Not a fast lens but the image stabilization does wonders along with a camera body that can handle high ISOs without image degradation. Good value for the money!
