I was pleasantly surprised when I open the box and pulled out this light weight PA cabinet ( My back thanks you !!!! ) I plugged it into my Yamaha mixer and it sounded great right out of the box. It could be a bit louder before it started clipping butI am using it for an acoustic solo thing so volume really isn't an issue. I don't think I would use it for my band but the quality of the sound it wonderful . Full rich bass, great mid range and crisp treble. Sounds pretty good on a budget!
I use these for backup monitors. They work pretty good for that. I like the cabinet design and the light weight. They don't have a lot of bass response but the are fine for vocal monitors which is all I ever use them for. Probably better suited for DJ speakers though.
