If you want the best sounding Tube for your Buck go with Gold Electro Harmonix 12AX7.
I use this Tube in my Aphex 230 master voice channel amp along with my Sennheiser 416 mic for voice over and this is by far the best sounding tube ever in this amp of mine. I'm 100% happy.
