    So. Still have not convinced my electrician to install these (disconnect the current lamps, pull them apart, then remove the ballast and connect the 110v legs directly to the lamp holding contacts ... ) I have used these before, and going from 40watts, per bulb ... to 10 in a dozen duel bulb fixtures, is a huge money saver. I made up a set of alligator clips on a length of zip cord with a plug on the end to test them ../. they all work, and should be fine
