I noted the wire/spring combo was much lighter than my original which was extremely difficult to fit ( I think the gasket I purchased was slightly looser than the old one! I’m so happy the retainer fitted perfectly, holds the gasket squarely and tightly and is WAY EASIER to fit. I’ve changed gaskets before and never had such trouble. Than you all for delivering me a “ magic device “ to complete job.
