Very useful bar like Albatross but no bar end shifting as is
This bar is a great deal. A classic swept bar in the shape of the Nitto Albatross. The forward bend can be taped and used for climbing and hard riding, so there is a good variety of hand and body positions possible. I only gave four stars because the package claims it can be used with bar end shifters. This is not true. You can invest time in modifying your bar end shifters and probably also reaming out the inside of bar and get it to work, if it’s worth it to you. Once I found out what people had to do to make that work, I just installed a friction stem shifter and moved on. The bars offer riding positions that make stem shifters easy to use and like the bar ends that keeps the bar clear for multiple hand positions. So I’m totally happy with the bar and the bike, I just think they ... This bar is a great deal. A classic swept bar in the shape of the Nitto Albatross. They work!
When installed correctly, you're able to exponentially increase your ability to steer your bicycle vs. incorrect or non-existent installation. Steering is highly recommended if you've taken the leap and made the commitment to utilize the full utility of a bicycle. If you're trying to avoid becoming a Scorpion Master, handlebars are fully endorsed.
