A new take on the original series
I saw the late 60’s series when I was kid and recently also. The movies take bits from the series to make a coherent plot (the series was long and things that happened were re done by going back in time. Over all it was a great interpretation of the characters and series.

A true fun ride for any fan of the original series. Campy at times, but true to the story!
As a huge devoted fan of the Original Dark Shadows, (which I FIRST saw in re-run, I might add - I'm not THAT old!) I liked the remake a few yrs before this one. But Johnny Depp made this very entertaining. It was toungue-in-cheek at times, and humor was added, and they took some creative license, but for the most part, they stayed true to the story!!! Very enjoyable, and I'm so glad I was able to get to own a copy of this!
