    A laptop is a Desktop but still a laptop when I needed the expansion. Thanks.

    I was completely surprised by the features on this docking station. No cords came with it but it is very useful. It even allows me to have a two monitor desktop. The computer laptop electrical cord fits the docking station as welll. There is even an internet connection. Wow..

    Laptop sits in a weird position on the dock

    The docking station works as advertised, but I was a bit disappointed to see that the laptop (Latitude E5450) does not sit flush with the dock's forward-facing surface. Further, the laptop's front edge is sitting on the desk surface, meaning that when docked it is at a slight downward angle. This caused me concern that the connectors on the dock and the laptop were being "torqued." The docking station appears to be made to accommodate different laptop models, some with the data connector at the rear of the computer (as with mine) and others with the port more "inboard."

    Good purchase

    It is fully functional. The only 'drawback' is the video port, that requires an HDMI adapter in most cases. Now we can relocate our comp from the office to the home theater in one push of a button.

    Works great. My computer screen became fuzzy and blurry,however when I connected to a TV monitor, it looks just fine. So I bought this dock station so I could keep my computer closed and use the tv as a monitor. I had to buy a keyboard and mouse, but the important thing is I can still use my computer with the docking station.
