    Good, fresh daytime scent for men.

    Timeless, classically cologney, and gentlemanly but not stuffy. Woody aromatic, nice cross between a fougere and a chypre with rosemary & realistic lavender over cedar & moss, patchouli & amber. Goes a bit woody on skin after an hour, gets more powdery in the air after two. (Less powdery when applied to clothes & hair.) I bought this primarily for Summer wear, but it's a good daytime men's scent for year round. Office friendly: doesn't overwhelm, safe for any setting. Lasts reasonably well for a fresh type cologne - by the afternoon it's faded back to a skin scent, and one can apply a different fragrance for evening without any problem.

    Disappointed with this fragrance

    I was excited when I ordered this product as it was an EDP vs EDT which should have a higher level of fragrance oils. This has a fragrance that has an alcohol smell and the actual fragrance is pretty weak - I have experienced this before with "off brand" products or "fakes", but I was expecting a clean and robust fragrance with this Lalique EDP product. I almost returned it but decided not to so far, yet I may still change my mind on that. I'm trying to wear it a few times to see if it seems better than it has so far. I had not previously tried this fragrance or smelled a sample in a store, so I don't know if "it just smells like that" or if this is not a genuine product. I like the bottle and was so disappointed with the fragrance. I may have to find a store that sells it and go by ...

    Good everyday fragrance + great value

    LPH is a very pleasant primarily Iris fragrance that would be good for daily use (i.e., in the office) but it could be worn anywhere. It certainly will not offend anyone and most everyone will like it (I certainly do). It lasts all day - a rare thing these days - and projects decently. This is a high-quality fragrance in a classy bottle and a great value. I am quite pleased.

    Star quality

    This smells rich. The first time I wore it I was sitting at my desk in this beautiful scent bubble and thought to myself, you're going to have to live up to this one. It's what the boss wears. The bottle is the star of my fragrance tray too. Fantastic value.
