    Great product, better prices available

    This protractor works great. Instead of a big open triangle, there is a slot to plot your point on the map. Works great, better than the standad military type. However, I found that this same product is available for a lower price through other places.

    Old style doesn't mean useless

    Seems to be the same as what I used in the military. Made of what appears to be the same grade of plastic. Fits nicely in my map pouch and it's very easy to use. A good purchase for when the batteries go dead in all those fancy electronics. And they will, when you need them most.
