Very old product, but sometimes they’re the best
My Grandmother and mother used this item before there were so many other brands and choices for silkening hair. I can’t say if it’s good for your hair, or not. But it does not contain sulfates if that’s a concern. A very small amount goes a long way. I could not find it in any stores, so was thrilled to be able to order it online. The price for 3-tubes is also a good price.

Why did they change the formula?
They have literally changed their formula to something that is on the level of petroleum jelly. The formula I’ve been using for years was lightweight, thinner consistency and left more shine. I am very disappointed that they would go the cheap route. Only thing the same is the smell, the color is even different, lighter in color, almost exactly the color of petroleum jelly. Lightweight and Remarkable Finish to Dry Hair!
The VO5 creme makes my hair look shiny and healthy and soft! I could not find it in the stores near me and the price is great too! I have tried so many other expensive hair products and oils and I have dry coarse hair and this creme works every time. Thank you!

Still a great product for soft shiny hair.
This has been around for a long time. Still makes the hair soft and shiny. Takes away dryness and flyaways. A sixteenth of an inch on the ends of hair does the job for me. It does smell strong at first but it soon goes away.
